Job Description: |
The successful candidate will be responsible for discovering, developing, and optimizing chemical processes for pharmaceutical intermediates and drug candidates. Specific duties will include but are not limited to designing and implementing synthetic routes, purifying and characterizing reaction products, optimizing reaction conditions, and documenting process information in support of manufacture at contract manufacture organizations. |

| Qualifications: |
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Organic Chemistry
- 0-3 years of relevant professional experience in synthesis analysis, and isolation of complex organic chemical structures. Synthetic experience should include multi-step syntheses of natural products as well development of new synthetic methodologies. Experience in analytical methodology should include high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), NMR (both 1D and 2D techniques), & mass spectroscopy analysis using advanced methods.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in German is preferred.
