Job Description: |
This position will support the drug discovery programs in Neuroscience. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: performing biochemical and neurochemical studies in tissues and cell cultures; in vivo/ex vivo tests of compounds for efficacy and bioavailability; performing assay development, data analysis and presentation; and other duties as assigned or required. |

| Qualifications: |
- Bachelor's or master's degree in biochemistry, neuroscience or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum three (3) years of related research experience
- Previous small animal handling experience
- Experience in protein analysis including extraction, measurement, Western blotting, etc
- Experience with tissue culture
- Experience in EIA, RIA and related assay methods preferred but not required
- Proficiency with basic computer skills including spreadsheets, data plotting and statistical analysis
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
