Our unique drug discovery process has yielded a rich and promising pipeline. Our goal is to enhance the lives of patients by discovering and developing breakthrough treatments for human disease. Clinical trials are underway for multiple drug candidates. We also have a number of promising programs in preclinical research.
In addition to our emerging clinical portfolio, we have identified and validated more than 100 potential drug targets in multiple therapeutic areas. Our pipeline consists of drug candidates targeting a variety of diseases across several therapeutic areas, which diversifies our approach to drug discovery and development. All of our targets have been identified internally as part of our Genome5000TM program, in which we are using mouse gene knockout technology and state-of-the-art analyses to discover the functions of 5,000 mammalian genes.
